Crucibulum Infidelium
by Brian Steimel and Raymond Masters The Salem Witch Trials inspire "Crucibulum Infidelium." Using spoken word, sound, music, puppets, and movement we aim to illustrate persecutions produced by the conflict between belief and fact. Moral conviction extrapolated out of natural phenomena impels action but does not compel justice. |
| Brian Steimel has a BA in English Literature with minors in Art History and Drama/Theatre for the Young and a MA in Drama/Theatre for the Young, both from Eastern Michigan University (EMU). Brian is currently a Master of Fine Arts candidate at Eastern Michigan University in Drama/Theatre for the Young.
