This Will Only Hurt A Little - A True Story by z. (Lindsey Briggs) "Designed with Paul Zaloom, 'This Will Only Hurt A Little' is based on a true account of when I was 10 years old and had to go to the dentist to have eight teeth removed in one sitting. The piece is a gruesome comedy using tabletop puppets and an array of props.

Throughout the last year z. has been working gathering research, interview footage and so on to create her first documentary film: Rufus and Margo Rose - The Lives of Storytellers and a Legacy of Puppetry. The film was created as part of her MFA thesis and will be available to the public this autumn. Currently z. is working on finishing her thesis book, writing and creating her first full length puppet show "Sally Sells an Egg" and also working at Wreckless Abandon Studios, a stop motion animation studio located in East Granby, CT.
